Cheshire · 30 July to 3 August 2026
We’re opening applications for a residential Contact Improvisation weekend in Cheshire this summer.
A small gathering to dance, share practice, and spend time together over several days.

It’s time inside the practice.
What to expect
A long weekend of Contact Improvisation with:
• Daily classes

• Shared meals and time together
• Space to rest, walk, and be outdoors

The place
We’ll be gathering at Beech Hill, a shared farmhouse site in Cheshire.

As part of the evening, Mungo and Kat will share simple seasonal songs+harmonies taught by ear, songs that everyone can join in with. Shy voices, rusty voices, confident voices, unsure voices, loud voices- ALL WELCOME. No singing experience needed. And there will be songs easy enough for everyone to sing.

samhain guided gathering: unplug & reconnect
In a world where so much of life is online, and loneliness feels like the norm, I’d like to offer something different: connection through circle, nature, fire, and song.
As the Celtic fire festival of Samhain approaches, I invite you to gather together with others, to take time away from your usual hustle and bustle, and to reconnect with what really matters to you – to feel more of what it means to be human, as those who came before us have been doing for tens of thousands of years.
Come as you are – no prior experience necessary!
Where: Beech Hill, 295 northwich rd, cw8 3an
When: Sun 2nd November, starting 10am, finishing by 5-6pm
How much: FREE including a £15 commitment deposit to save your place (refundable upon attendance).
What to expect:
- we will be gathering together at 10am in a small group (no more than 12 people) around an open fire in our beautiful, wild land amidst birch, beech, and oak. Outdoors, but with shelter.
- after a welcome and introduction, I will guide a short meditation to help everyone arrive together and feel more embodied, and perhaps teach a simple song. We will then open the sharing circle, where each person will have the chance to share with others and listen to others, with no judgement.
- we will share a light lunch.
- I will invite you to feel in and notice what feels important to you at this time in your life, and guide you into an 'intuition walk' on the land to explore that, before coming back together with the invitational opportunity to receive a soul-blessing mirror.
- this is a safe space, everything is an invitation and everyone can participate as much or as little as they want. All that is shared will be held in confidentiality.
The circle is led by me, Mungo. I have 10 years' experience of holding space and have created and facilitated many of these spaces. My heart is in helping people feel more embodied, more connected, and more alive, so that all of life may flourish.
Please book your space, ask any questions and get directions by emailing me: mungo.dalglish@gmail.com

sunset fire
when possible, each week at beech hill we will be lighting an outdoor sunset fire and gathering in an open, co-creative, and improvised way.
it may be for 30 minutes, it may be several hours. it may be one person, or many. there may be conversation, or ceremony, or songs, or stories, or poems, or silence. you may join and contribute in any way you choose, or simply be present and listen.
it is free and open to everyone – and you are welcome to come and go as you please.
