breathe, feel, release

massage and therapeutic touch

for physical, emotional, and nervous system health

“how do we become calm, find flow, feel space and spaciousness, and appreciate the unique and universal bodies we inhabit?”

– andrea olsen

bodymind massage and craniosacral therapy rebalance and regulate your system, helping you change your state –

from stressed to calm, clear, and focused

from anxious to relaxed and grounded

from feeling alone to connected and fully embodied

from feeling dysregulated to a felt sense of safety in the body

this work is especially for those who struggle to properly ‘switch off’, who feel stressed and pressured by life, who feel chronically tense, or who keep giving and giving from an empty cup

(it’s also for those who simply want to take time out and deeply receive)

-

your body is not separate from your mind. and every bodymind is different

who you are and what you’re coming for is important. so in my sessions, we spend time exploring what sort of approach feels right for you, because this helps you to begin to let the touch in, and perhaps to gently let go of whatever you no longer need to be holding. this is where deeper healing happens

sometimes this can happen in a single session. more commonly it is about supporting lasting change over time, supported by my offers and focused containers

-

to put it simply:

I listen, I offer choices, I offer gentle yet powerful and intuitive touch

tailored to you

every session is bespoke

nervous system retuning

(comprehensive 12-week treatment programme)

a comprehensive, deep retuning over 12 weeks.

trauma-informed, soothing, and listening touch tailored to you and your nervous system – together we discover your unique ‘touch profile’, and how to support your system in coming home to a ventral vagal state of relaxation, presence and connection. over time this process helps to re-tune your nervous system towards that down-regulated state.

includes in-depth consultation, holistic full body massages, craniosacral therapy, somatic and embodiment coaching, symptom tracking, guided introduction to mindfulness, sleep hygiene support, and weekly strategies for self-regulating and centring between sessions.

everything is invitational, nothing is forced, and we move at your system’s pace.

usually clothed, although can also be partially clothed, or unclothed (draped) according to what feels good, safe, and comfortable.

first session 2 hours, thereafter 90 min.

payment plans available.

client testimonials

  • "I have been having regular sessions with mungo for about a year. my sessions have been life-transforming – this may sound like an over-exaggeration but they are the most relaxing and resetting massage impacting me both physically and emotionally. I cannot recommend mungo’s work enough."

    – naomi

  • "I found the four sessions with mungo to be extremely helpful. my condition is much improved, and I am continuing the techniques learned from mungo. my confidence has been restored. I would have no hesitation in booking further, “top up” sessions with mungo if required."

    – alan

  • "at a point in my life where I was so overwhelmed, I dared to put my trust in Mungo. I can only say the Trauma Therapy Massage has at last allowed me to give way to negative patterns that have plagued me for a long time. thank you for allowing emotional responses to return."

desires, limits, & boundaries coaching

this isn’t about touch per se, but about choosing, communication, and clarity.

consent is a key relational skill, and applies to many aspects of our lives beyond touching and being touched. many of us feel uncomfortable or unpracticed in noticing and asking for what we actually want; how to properly honour our own limits and those of others; and how to expand our capacity for choice.

learning and practicing these skills is an essential way of regulating and respecting your system, whether in personal relationships, professional settings, or places of healing.

everything is invitational. nothing has to happen. the noticing and choosing – not the doing – are the practice.

clothed one-to-one or group coaching sessions using practices and exercises underpinned by Betty Martin’s Wheel of Consent.

for our first one-to-one session allow up to 2 hours.
couple and group workshops available from 2-3 hours to a whole weekend.
